Hi Robin,
thanks for the explanation, that's crazy. Such changes can slip through. Hard to be aware of this.
Very good you found it and it surely will help others with PlayerOne cameras!
cheers,
Michael

Re: Flatframe Autoexposure fails
Hi
If I can piggyback on flat frame autoexposure, I continue to get message that Autoexposure for flat capture failed because there is no sensor data. Complete sensor analysis...
Problem is, I have redone my sensor analysis.
It sits right in the correct %AppData/roaming/Sensor Analysis folder that SharpCap put it in.
The Brain sees and displays it when I go to ots sensor Data tab.
Very frustrating.
Any ideas?
I am using 4.1xxx latest version.
thanks

Re: Flatframe Autoexposure fails
Hi,
the first thing that comes to mind is that the sensor data is probably loaded when you open the camera, so if your steps were
* open camera
* try autoexposure (fails)
* do analysis
* try autoexposure again (fails)
then it may just be that closing and re-opening the camera would be enough to get it to pick up the analysis data and work.
It's also worth noting that the analysis needs to be done with the same camera bit depth (ie RAW8 vs RAW16) and read mode settings (if your camera has read mode options) as you are using when you do the autoexposure. If you have done analysis in RAW16 then try to use autoexposure in RAW8 then it is not able to find the *right* sensor data.
If none of that helps then please let me know what camera you are using - QHY? - there are some subtleties that I will need to check and best to have the right type of camera.
cheers,
Robin
