Hi Rich,

I didn't get a chance to look at this before releasing SharpCap 4.1.13447 at the start of this week, but I did have a look after that and found some code that was incorrectly setting the size back to the maximum as part of the refresh of the settings after changing mode. I am fairly sure that was the cause of the problem ( I tried making a copy of your code independent of the Pentax/Ricoh SDK, but gave up and just tweaked two resolutions selected by readout mode into another driver I have the source for).

In my latest (unreleased) development code here, the problem no longer happens against that test driver (and it did before the change), so I hope I've nailed that issue. I am away for a bit over the next couple of weeks, so I am not planning another release until mid July or so.

The pan/tilt inconsistent message is - I think - a follow on from the original error.

cheers,

Robin

The Pentax driver works on Windows 10 but not Windows 11. Is this a known problem?

Hi,

haven't tested myself (or got a Pentax camera any more), but I don't see any mention of it on the web site for the driver (https://github.com/richromano/ASCOMPentaxCameraDriver), so maybe it is some sort of configuration problem or missing files that were there on Win10 or similar. Full details of any error you see might help, but if you don't get a response here perhaps the best thing to do would be to raise an issue against the github project for the driver. If you do that, make sure you give a detailed description (what version you have, what errors you see, screenshots, logs, etc - all of which will help the developer understand what is going on and hopefully be able to steer you in the direction of solving the problem).

cheers,

Robin
