Re: Dropped frames in ROI at high fps
hello,
tried today with the last update,, seems to be better (almost no dropped frames and more stable FPS at 402 fps, expo 2,4 ms)
I still have to move the USB speed slider (up or down, does not matter) after some (rare) fps counter slowing.
On another hand I had a bug crashinf SC when I tried to return the camera from ROI to full size (see log, at the end)

Re: Dropped frames in ROI at high fps
Ah, thanks for reporting that - I think I can see where that is coming from (due to changing the way SharpCap was waiting for the next frame - opens the possibility of that error). I will address that in the next update.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Dropped frames in ROI at high fps
Hello Olivier,
You do the capture in 8bit. Normally it is better to use the full dynamic of the sensor for the SHG imaging (where you are looking at the centre of the absorbing line, that is dark). Yes, I know ... 8bt is faster than 16bit.
For the dropped frames ... as song as it is only a few (most of the time at the beginning), it is fine.
It is different if you can constantly (some %) during the full capture time.
For the stable frequency ... you can have a look at this topic viewtopic.php?p=44272#p44272
(note: I did not finalised my script).
Regards,
Jean-Francois
