thanks for the tip with the AsiFitsViewer! It might be handy the next time I use Pipp
In the mean time I have added the process of extracting a single plane out of a Fits file into my own software (which prepares my Asteroid images
to be measured with Astrometrica). I use the Cfitsio.dll. So I avoid the manual steps with Siril and Fitswork and it helps a lot to handle some 30 to 50 Asteroids
But I often use AsiFitsView and FitsLiberator to inspect Fits files.
