Just a matter of putting it all into practice now,
Very much appreciated.

Re: Live Stacking Questions
Hi, Sorry, Just one last question ( I hope )
I am just typing up a manual for myself as i tend to forget things after a while if i haven't done them for quiet some time.
So i am looking at saving each individual frame,
The best option appears to be: Save except when paused/dithering
Now this will save all frames except from when i am dithering, which is what i want,
But it also appears to save all frames even the ones that do not pass the FWHM or brightness filter,
It it possible to save all frames except when dithering and also only the ones that pass the FWHM or brightness filter?
I would also like to be able to save each individual flat frames, dark frames, and Bias frames also if possible.
I also guessing that i should have the Save individual Frames ticked and possibly the Autosave box ticked for this?
I just like to externally stack the images.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Live Stacking Questions
Hi,
I think you want to choose the 'Save Stacked' option - this saves only the frames that are added to the stack, so it excludes
* Frames captured while dithering
* Frames captured while guiding is stopped (if you have enabled that option)
* Frames that do not pass any active filters like FWHM or brightness.
Hope this helps,
Robin

Re: Live Stacking Questions
Thanks again, very much appreciated.
I will try and put all this into practice when i get a clear night.
I think i have the basics now, might see if i can try and do a save with a few different options to see what files i get.
We are in a cloudy area this time of year unfortunately with only a few decent nights a month to image, so just trying to learn as much as i can before hand.
Very much appreciated.
