Re: Pro license
After a separate discussion, this turned out to be a problem due to an Altair Astro licence being used with a non-Altair camera. Please remember that these free licenses with Altair Astro cameras are only valid if you are using them with an Altair camera.

Re: Pro license
Hi Robin,
I have purchased a pro licence following the expiry of my free Altair licence and now find that the licence key remains as the old Altair tethered one so I cant use other manufacturers cameras, con you advise on how to update the key please.
Thanks
Ian

Re: Pro license
Hi Ian,
you should have received a new, different, license key code when you purchased. You need to find the email with this new code in, then copy the new code from that email (all 8 lines of it) and replace the current license code in SharpCap with the new one. Once you have done that, SharpCap will know about the new license, including the expiry date and the ability to use all brands of camera.
Hope this helps,
Robin

Re: Pro license
Hi Ian,
glad you got it sorted! Bad timing on my part - it was clear here on Saturday night, but my setup was still in bits after doing some changes to better mount one of the side-by-side telescopes. I finally got everything back together on Sunday morning and all the wires reconnected and then the weather went downhill
Hope that you managed to take advantage of the clear night though
cheers,
Robin
