I'm not sure what's going on but as soon as I connect me Atik 16200 via ASCOM Sharpcap automatically starts taking images.
Windows 10 64bit

Hi,
Yes – that's correct behaviour. SharpCap currently works like a video camera in that it takes images all the time and then save them to disk when you ask it to. The next major version will have the option to switch into a still camera like mode where you can ask it to only take images on request.
