Hi,
All cameras can write to JPEG format in SharpCap 3.2, but remember it's a Lossie compression format so data will be reduced in fidelity and in particular the GPS info written at the start of each frame will be corrupted beyond repair if you save in JPEG format.

I want to use JPg for a specific purpose but I don't see where to specify it?
Settings>Preferred Still Format has JPG but Capture Formats has only SER, PNG, FITS, and TIFF. No JPG.

Hi,
I guess you are in a high bit depth mode (i.e. mono 16 et cetera). JPEG is only supported as a save format for 8-bit modes.
Cheers, Robin
