Exposure in file name
I have set following file name for "Live Stack (Processed)":
{TargetName}\\{TargetName}_{Camera}_Stack {StackedFrames} frames_{Exposure} s_Tot.Exp. {TotalExposure}_{DateTime:S}
The resulted file name:
Capture_Test Camera 1 (Deep Sky)_Stack 4 frames_20,0s s_Tot.Exp. 20s_2019-01-09T23_07_31
The individual exposure time is set at 5 s but the the file name shows the TOTAL exposure time.
Is this a bug?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Exposure in file name
Hi,
I've just tested these settings and I seem to get the results that I would expect from them
The first exposure value is 1.3 seconds here and that is the length of the individual frames and the 2nd is the total exposure of the stack.
Do you see a different result of this?
Cheers, Robin

Re: Exposure in file name
I still can't replicate your result.
Always total exposure time instead of individual exposure time.
Tested on different computers with same outcome.

Re: Exposure in file name
Hi,
Okay, that's weird. The only thing I can think of is that there is some particular set of options that cause the problem to happen which are different from those that I am using.
Please can you give me some more details so that I can set things up exactly the way you have – for instance let me know the camera you're using, the settings you are using with it (particularly the colour space option) and the live stack settings that you are using. A screenshot showing the major camera controls and the main life stacking controls would probably have pretty much all the information that I need.
Cheers, Robin

Re: Exposure in file name
Hello Robin,
Thanks replying.
Different 'screenprints' attached.
Done with the DeepSky Test Camera.
I've done also a test with a ZWO224MC, indoors, with very small exposure times (10 ms) but same outcome.

Re: Exposure in file name
Okay, now I understand why were getting different results – in spite of your first post clearly saying you were having problems with the process filenames, I went ahead and tested the raw filenames I think. Oops! I will retest later this evening.

Hi Robin,
Did you already had time to look at this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Exposure in file name
Hi,
I think I would need to add another template option for 'SubExposure' to fix this properly - if I change the 'Exposure' parameter to be the sub exposure length then other things will break (like saved file metadata values).
There are a couple of other requests for more template parameters (like temperature), so I will give this area of the program an update in the future.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Exposure in file name
OK thanks.
A while ago I did post a request re. annotation into processed image.
Perhaps this can be considered to:
It would be nice to have implemented the possibility to annotate the processed image.
Eg. Target information - Scope used - # Frames - Exposure time - "free information"
Thanks in advance considering this feature.
