Hi, having trouble with Wait until Date/Time. As you can see, it doesn't wait at all! I'm in UTC-4 (EST). Mount and computer time are synced and correct.
9:36:21 PM Starting : Sequence
9:36:21 PM Starting : Wait until 2026-10-23T21:40:00-04:00
9:36:21 PM Completed : Wait until 2026-10-23T21:40:00-04:00
9:36:21 PM Starting : Put Camera in Still Mode
(the above was run on 10/23)
3:46:37 PM Starting : Sequence
3:46:37 PM Starting : Wait until 2026-10-24T19:50:00.0000000Z
3:46:37 PM Completed : Wait until 2026-10-24T19:50:00.0000000Z
3:46:37 PM Starting : Park the mount
3:47:01 PM Completed : Park the mount
3:47:01 PM Completed : Sequence
3:47:01 PM Finished
(run on 10/24)
When the chosen date was the day after, it did wait, but a shorter interval than specified. Sorry I didn't keep the log.

Re: Wait until Date/Time
Hi,
there are two forms of 'Wait until' - one just takes a time and waits until that time on the day it is running, and the other takes a time *and* date, and waits until that exact moment in time. I think you are using the second form when you want the first - if you see the date in the display of the sequencer step (or in the logged output as above) then you have the version with the date in too.
For the version with the date in, the point in time it picks as default is I think an hour after you add the step on the date that you added the step to the sequence. You can see this in your first log - the time it was waiting for was on the 23rd October, but you were running on the 24th.
If you are wondering, the form with the date and the time is designed for waiting exactly for some event that will happen (an occultation event for instance) and it makes it simpler to wait for events that occur after midnight regardless of whether the sequence is started before or after midnight.
cheers,
Robin
