Two really small requests:
If I'm using your wonderful PushTo Assistant, and run into something in the sky that looks cool, I plate solve, get the name, and want to copy that name and search. The text is not able to be selected and copied.
It would be nice to be able to copy that, instead of trying to type it into an online search while shivering outside with gloves on.
Also, if I copy something from another source and paste into your Full Catalog Search in PushTo, it needs to have no space.
NGC 1444 should work as well as NGC1444, but your Catalog Search has never heard of NGC 1444.
It only knows of NGC1444.
----
BTW, I'm loving PushTo. Been just scooting around the night sky with the mount controller app until I find something I like, then plate solve it (to see what it is), then shooting it.
Nice way to avoid just "Here's Orion again, here's Andromeda again, here's M45 again (etc), and get things I probably wouldn't shoot otherwise.
Be able to copy from Annotations, and ignore spaces in target names

What I do is click on name in annotation list then click set as target bottom of annotation window. This will move name to target name space. You can then copy from target name space.

Re: Be able to copy from Annotations, and ignore spaces in target names
Hi,
thanks for the feedback - it's interesting to see how other people use the software, since my default when searching for an NGC target is to just type in the number part - i.e. '1444'. That tends to show the target you want among maybe one or two others and you are good to go. I will have a look at the space thing though on the search.
For the co-ordinates, are you aware that there is a 'Copy' button at the right hand side of the notification bar that shows the plate solve results. If you press that you get all of the plate solve information (co-ordinates, field of view, orientation, etc) dropped into the clipboard to be re-used however you want.
cheers,
Robin

I largely use SharpCap with one hand.
(No, not like THAT. Though I do LOVE space.)
One hand is usually on a mouse, controlling SharpCap.
The other hand usually has my phone, controlling one of my two mounts.
