SharpCap and TeenAstro controller: Problem with the RA axis

Four years ago, I had issues controlling my AP600 GTO mount via SharpCap.

Unfortunately, the problem couldn't be resolved at the time.

Now I have an AP900 mount for my larger telescopes, controlled by TeenAstro.
The TeenAstro controller works better with SharpCap.
There is just one problem: I can move the RA and DEC axes using the arrow keys.
However, the RA axis stops whenever I move the DEC axis.
This prevents me from using certain functions (such as feature tracking).
Are there any users here who also use the TeenAstro controller?

Hi Bernd,

if the RA axis tracking is stopping when SharpCap is commanding the mount to move in the Dec axis using the movement buttons or other things (like feature tracking) then that sounds like an issue with the ASCOM driver that needs to be fixed by 'TeenAstro'.

To quote from the documentation of the ASCOM 'MoveAxis' command (https://ascom-standards.org/newdocs/telescope.html)

A MoveAxis() operation on one axis must not affect any of the other axes.

It very much sounds as though this rule isn't being followed and the DEC movement is stopping the RA tracking, although I cannot be 100% sure about this without more detailed investigation.
