Hello all,
I just received the SC571, loaded the ASCOM drivers and the SVBony software and I want to do a sensor analysis. When I look for the camera I get SVbony Camera
Ascom SVBony Camera 1
Ascom SVBony Camera 2
Ascom SVBony Camera 3
When I choose the first one, I I get a message that there is no camera attached and it brings up the VBony software with no choiuce for the SC571
If I choose any of the others I get the warning that Operating the Camera via ASCOM may reduce performance and reliability
In the ASCOm Profile Explorer Camera 1 is listed as the SVbony SC571 (USB2.0).
Can I ignore this warniong and go ahead with the analysis or is there a driver I can get that someone is aware of that works better?

Re: SVbony SC571 and sensor analysis
Hi,
I think the first thing to try is to update to the very latest version of SharpCap from our downloads page at https://downloads.sharpcap.co.uk . Support for the new SVBony IMX571 camera has only been in the software since the beginning of February, so if you are using a version that is older than that, you will get exactly the symptoms that you are seeing.
cheers,
Robin
