Seeing monitor and Focus Assistant on screen together

Hi
New user here, I've just downloaded Sahrpcap 4.1 for Windows and I'm trying to get the seeing monitor on the screen at the same time as the Focus Assistant.

Everytime I select either one it appears in the same window whether it's docked or floated.

Any help appreciated.

Hi,

unfortunately you can't do that - those two tools are mutually exclusive, so you can have one or the other active. When you consider the solar system focus tools, both the seeing monitor and the focus tools are measuring and iterpreting the same thing - the contrast of the image. They just show it and act on it in different ways.

Normally you would use the focus tool to get the focus accurate, then switch to the seeing monitor for capturing.
