Robin,
I have noticed that to prevent the "Additional Logging Enabled" notification popup from appearing at startup in SharpCap Pro 4.1, I need to disable all logging entirely.
I would like to maintain logs while not getting the notification popup during each time I startup SharpCap 4.1; therefore, how can I do logging without the notification?
Thanks,
Edmund

Re: Removal of Notification of Logging During SharpCap Pro Startup
Hi Edmund,
that message will always appear if one of the options in the options in the 'Logging' page of the main settings is currently ticked. The only way to get rid of it is to untick all of those options, which puts the logging level of SharpCap back to the default (a fair bit of stuff is still logged, but not too much).
That message is deliberately intrusive on the start up process because leaving one of those options for extra logging turned on can create a *LOT* of extra log messages - enough that it can impact on the performance of SharpCap. I really don't want to have people turn on some of those options, leave them on and forget about them and then report that they have performance problems. Not only would that mean that the people with the options left on would have their SharpCap experience spoiled by any performance problems, but the reports would be hard to diagnose and eventually get worked out as a false alarm due to the logging being left on.
cheers,
Robin

Robin,
Appreciate the response. I guess I will leave it there for now - I like getting the log information and will just keep clicking on the notification for now.
Thanks,
Edmund
