Having problem with registax keeps freezing ,any advice .

there may be some people on here who know about registax, but they will need to much know much more about what you are trying to do when the problem happens to offer any useful help.

Hi it dose the align ,starts stacking then about have way through it freezes .

What size are your image files - and how many are you trying to stack. Registax is quite old software now and struggles with modern camera file sizes
Scopes: Celestron C11, 102SLT , Ascension 127mm Apo, Opticstar 152mm Mak, Ascension 80mm Apo
Mounts: EQ8, EQ5 Pro, Nexstar SLT
Imaging: ASI1600MM-Cool, ASI533MC-Pro, ASI290MM, ASI224MC, Quark, QHY5L-II-M,
Opticstar 82 eyepieces, lots of other stuff

What version? I believe that they just released a 64-bit version.

Most people now do alignment/stacking in AutoStakkert and then only use Registax for the final wavelet sharpening.

I capture SER files, stack with Autostakkert and sharpen in Registax. This seems to be a robust workflow commonly used.

I doubt anyone here will be able to assist until you provide information such as file type, file size, type of object .....

Don't think so - latest I know of is v6.1.0.8 circa 2012 - were you thinking of DSS?

Thanks for the advice got autostakker ,works fine using regisax for wavelett
