Does the instrument (Plate Solution with Synchronization) only work with the Sharcap pro?

I'm trying to do plate solving with SharCap and I can't.
When I open the tools section, I see it's grayed out (Plate Solving with Synchronization).
Why can't I use this?
Is it necessary to have SharCap Pro to use this?
If it's not necessary to have SharCap Pro, why could this be happening?

Hi,

there is no need for a SharpCap pro license for this feature - all you need to enable that option is:

* A plate solving tool needs to be installed and selected/configured in the SharpCap plate solving settings.
* A GOTO mount needs to be connected within SharpCap.

Since the item above in the menu is available, we know that you have plate solving set up, so the issue must be that your GOTO mount has not been configured or connected in SharpCap.

I've configured the goto and now it seems to be working without even testing it in real sky.
How can I configure this part?

Hi,

I don't think there is anything more that needs to be configured - you have the GOTO mount set up and the plate solving is set up too, so you should be able to use the tool now.
