Error and Sharpcap crashing with 183protec

Having major issues with my new Altair 183C (protec version). It works absolutely fine with Altair Capture but when trying to connect in Sharpcap I first get a warning about USB speed settings and immediately thereafter the following error:

After which nothing happens or Sharpcap crashes.

I tried pretty much everything: reinstalling the driver, rebooting and whatnot but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Well it turned out I was running a rather old version. Got it working now.
