DSI II Pro Not being seen

I recently purchased a MEADE LX200GPS telescope with a DSI I and DSI Pro III.

After struggling a little too much on windows 11. I decided to install windows 7 on a spare computer I had. I installed SharpCap 3.1 and envisage as well. The Envisage program finds the DSI Pro III just fine and shows a picture from the camera. SharpCap will not find the camera and of course will not show any video. I am seeing some people talking about Directshow drivers and ASCOM drivers for these camera to use in SharpCap but I am struggling to figure out how to get those drivers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

sadly, I don't think there are any drivers available (either ASCOM or Directshow) that will allow your cameras to work in SharpCap. I did some web searching and didn't find any drivers, but did find other people asking the same sort of question who were also failing to find drivers. I think that Meade no longer provide support for these models and their age means that they were developed and released before the provision of ASCOM drivers for cameras became common practice.

I did see some mention of the possibility that the Nebulosity application can perhaps talk to the cameras and that there *may* be an ASCOM driver that allows other applications to access the camera via Nebulosity. I haven't looked into this in any detail though.
