So adjusting the colour balance is done using the sliders whilst live stacking? I generally click on the auto colour balance to adjust the sliders.

Hi,

the colour balance sliders in the live stacking area are fine - they adjust the colours as the image to be displayed is generated from the stack. It's the colour balance sliders in the camera controls area that can potentially cause all the grief - they adjust the pixel values of the image before it gets to SharpCap and can end up changing the values in ways that SharpCap is not able to compensate for when applying flat frame correction. Those camera values are best left at the 'Neutral' values of 50/50 (for ZWO cameras).

cheers,

Robin
