Hi,
I have been doing some sensor analysis runs and even though I tick the box to skip binning it still hangs at that step - screen status is Status: Checking binning 1 more frame... If I press "Stop Capture" it finishes OK after that. I have done this on two different cameras and I have attached a screenshot from one
Using latest very of 64bit SharpCap.

Re: Sensor Analysis hangs at binning
Hi,
thanks for the report - it looks like it is stuck waiting for a frame from the camera, so pressing stop capture is enough to trigger another frame to be requested which then works and the process completes. Looking at the code, when the binning check is turned off, it isn't completely turned off (although it never actually changes the binning). I will fix that for the next update, which may well resolve this. I'd also suggest that sensor analysis should be run with the camera in live mode rather than stil mode (except for cameras with a physical shutter like a DSLR). In live mode, the camera will automatically start another frame if necessary, which will avoid this sort of stuck situation.
cheers,
Robin
