Hi,
Just tried this in the latest update. It seems to only allow frames in multiples of 5? Can it be made open-ended?
Thanks

Hi,
the up/down arrows move in steps of five, but you can type any value you like in the box instead of using the up/down.
cheers,
Robin

Only if the number to be entered is greater than 5.
So I can enter 6, but not 1,2,3 or 4.
Can you confirm its reproducible on your system?
Thanks

Re: Using MetaGuide with SharpCap 4
I would love to start using Metaguide to guide and dither. I am not too savvy with the scripting in SharpCap4. I have no need for live stacking. All I want is to ask Metaguide to dither every frame or every other frame during a normal imaging set. So I want the most simple approach to get this working as is possible. Can someone give me the specific steps I need to follow to make this work?

Hi Robin,
Any updates on the inclusion of Metaguide as a guiding option, in addition to PHD2 and Lacerta?
Thanks!

Hi,
to be honest, no - in the past I have tried setting up metaguide a couple of times to work out how it all works, and never really got far understanding the program. PHD2 is good from this point of view as it has 'simulator' features so that you can learn how the program works (and test things out) without needing clear skies/a real guide camera/an active mount/etc. As far as I can tell there isn't an equivalent in MG
