Hello
I was out the other night trying to live stack some images of the full moon. Somewhere along the line I must have clicked on something that will not undo! During the live stacking, in the image window of the moon, there is this framing square that floats over the actual image and will not go away. I can't really explain it because I really don't know what it is. The frame can be adjusted like a crop frame. It interferes' with the imaging. I have a screen shot of the actual image.
Hope I have explained my problem, would you have any idea

I had the same issue but I simply cannot remember what I did to get rid of it. I think I toggled the ROI on and off or something similar to that...

Re: Planetary Live stacking issue, Help!
Hi,
you have the selection area tool enabled on the taskbar at the top of the screen - this causes the planetary live stacking to only process the part of the image inside the selection box (the area outside that box is unprocessed images straight from the camera).
That 'selection box' mode is really designed for planetary where you might have a big black area around the planet image, so it makes sense to only process the area of interest.
You can toggle the selection area on/off in the taskbar (the button looks like a red square on a black background).
cheers,
Robin
