Running some test sequences and when I run a loop of images then go to refocus I close the camera then reopen it and load a profile. The load profile errors as the sequencer thinks the camera is currently taking a frame when I have just closed it and reopened it.
Here is a link to a compressed file that has an explain txt document that explains the problem and links you to the error line and it also contains the log file.

I run windows 11 pro, ASI294MCPro Camera, current version of Sharpcap (August)

Re: Error on load camera profile - thinks camera is capturing
Hi,
unfortunately, the zip/7z file downloads as empty (32 bytes long), so I can't see any of the details.
Does the problem happen if you don't close/re-open the camera just before? Is the close/re-open essential for some other reason?
cheers,
Robin

Hi,
thanks for the log - looks like there may be a bug in that section of the sequencer and I will investigate.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Error on load camera profile - thinks camera is capturing
Hi,
I tried today to make this error happen using various cut down versions of your sequence, and so far I haven't managed to make it happen. Does it happen to you every time in testing, or is it intermittent? If it happens intermittently then it could be the result of particular timing of two actions (capturing, closing/re-opening the camera), but that is less likely if it happens every time.
I have checked the code and the only two causes for the error message you see are that the camera thinks it is capturing either video or a still frame. The current error doesn't tell us which of the two it is, but I have adjusted that for the next update so if it continues to happen we will be able to halve the area to search by checking if the message indicates the camera thought it was capturing a still frame or not.
cheers,
Robin
