Sequencer step move to RA/DEC problems with catalog

Hello,

sequencer step 'Move the mount to RA/DEC' allows to choose objects from catalogs, just by clicking on an entry.
But, the data then copied to sequencer is not only RA/DEC, but also text in ID and Name fields of catalog.
And in some cases this whole text might be too long.

Example: Choose Castor from cataloge, you get
MOUNT GOTO "HIP 36850 (α Gem, 66 Gem, Castor, Apollo), RA=07:34:35.9,Dec=+31:53:17"
but also at the end after RA/DEC a message (Bad Coordinates), and you are not able to hit run and execute the sequence.

If you edit the line and delete all but RA/DEC , it works.
And it works also if you choose other objects with shorter text in catalog name field.

Maybe it is possible to extend the length of text allowed before real RA/DEC, or automatically create an extra comment line before MOUNT/GOTO
with all text from catalog not containing RA/DEC.

BTW, we had already a discussion that it would be very nice to be able to query Simbad. Just a simple object ID query.

Hi,

thanks for the report - it sounds like the code that tries to split the name of the target from the co-ordinates is messing up, and then feeding more text than it should to the code that tries to understand the co-ordinates. I will investigate and try to fix.

SIMBAD queries some other time
