Dithering interferes with unstack feature

#1

Post by mgCatskills »

I routinely dither every two, 30 second frames. This evening, I noticed a satellite trail almost instantly and hit the unstack button. Unfortunately, the dither cycle had started and I have it set for "short exposures" during dithering. So instead of subtracting the last 30 second frame, it subtracted a 2 second dither frame, which of course is useless.

You can see it in the screen shot. Total exposure which should be a multiple of 30 seconds is now subtracted by 2 seconds.
