windws 11 thinks i need oget sharpcap from the app store. how do i make them friends

Hi,
it sounds like your copy of Windows is in 'S' mode, which will only allow apps that are installed from the Microsoft store. Microsoft claim this offers security and reliability benefits, but really they are just trying to push people to use their app store in any way they can...
You can take your computer out of S mode, but it is a one way thing (you cannot then go back). More info here : https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/win ... baebeebc85
