Hi,

things to do:

* Check if any system drivers from Celestron are needed and if so, install those
* Look in Windows 'Device Manager' and see if the Neximage5 is showing up there (if it has a yellow exclaimation mark or doesn't show up then there is a problem). Often pulling the device USB cable out and re-adding it helps you find where it is in device manager, as it will vanish when pulled out.
* Check to see you have the same version of SharpCap on old and new PC (including same choice for 32 or 64 bit) this makes sure the differences between the two machines are as small as possible
* Check the 'Camera Privacy Settings' in Windows and make sure that 'Let Desktop Apps access your camera' is turned on.

cheers,

Robin

Thanks. I found the right driver package and I have the camera working on my W11 machine.

Hi,

glad to hear you got it working - it's easy to forget drivers, as you do it once when you get the camera and usually never have to think about it again until you change PC.

cheers,

Robin
