FITS TELESCOPE HEADER

#1

Post by carlomuccini »

Hi

I use different telescopes depending on the field of view I want.

In Menu FILE /SHARPCAP SETTING / SAVING : FITS TELESCOPE HEADER

I can enter the name of the telescope in use, for example: ASTRO-PHYSICS 105 TRAVELER EDF
It would be wonderful to be able to choose the name of the telescope from a drop-down list
without having to re-enter the name of the telescope every time I change the telescope
e.g. CELESTRON RASA 8, TAKAKASHI FS60C, ASKAR185APO etc.
It's quite boring to do

The text file (that can be written manually) can contain either just the name, or the name, diameter, focal length, possible 0.8x reducer/flattener
like ASKAR 185 APO| 185 | 1270 | 0,8x |
or something similar to deep sky object lists in deep sky image annotation

Thanks for the attention

Carlo
