extend catalogue

How do i add more objects to the catalogue so they appear in the push-to?
For instance ngc 3621 was not there and so as others.

However, NGC3621 is in the default catalog (I just checked), so I suspect that it didn't appear in the list of targets because one of the filters on altitude, brightness, etc was active. Perhaps it was simply below the horizon at the time?

Thanks Robin. I was precisely studying this right now. I think no filter was applied except the FWHM. I will test again.

i just connected the camera and brightness filter was not activated. weird

just checked push-to and now it appears there. I previously reloaded catalogues, IDK if it changed anything or it was only my awkwardness during the live stream.

I think the most likely cause would be the minimum altitude filter as shown here : https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/4.1/#Choosi ... %20Catalog

Note that the first dropdown of common targets as shown here - https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/4.1/#Choosing%20a%20Target - only contains the Messier, Caldwell and Solar System objects, not NGC/IC, so you need to press the 'Full Catalog' button to find NGC/IC targets

Thanks. Yes, could be that. Very good info on the links i didn't know yet. I will explore it more next available night. Good to see the pushto also has that capability since i use it most of the time. The sharpcap platesolver is now my preferred as well since now is working like a charm.
