Delete entries in ROI list

#1

Post by Real14 »

Hi,

I searched nearly everywhere but did not find how to delete entry settings in the ROI list.

How do I do that?

Thanks Rainer

Hi,

unfortunately that can only be done with registry editing - you need to go into the registry key

Code: Select all

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AstroSharp Limited\SharpCap\4.1
You will find a value called 'CustomResolutions' in there that you can either edit (carefully!) or delete that value entirely to wipe all the custom ones.

As always, take care when editing the registry.

cheers,

Hi Robin,

Thanks. That is not an elegant solution IMHO. The list grows and grow when one tries to get the best size.

Why not just select the entry to delete and press delete key? Just a suggestion.

Anyhow. Thanks and I will edit the registry.

Hi,

yes, improving that is on my to-do list. I also want to change it so that the custom values are stored on a per-camera basis, rather than being shared between all cameras.

cheers,

Robin
