FYI: CPWI is a combo program and driver. To utilize CPWI the program must be up and running and left running in the background. Once it is up and running your mount can be controlled simultaneously by any planetarium program (Starry Night, Stellarium, Sky Charts (Cartes du Ciel)) and SharpCap and guide scope (PHD2) or Off Axis Guider (PHD2).

There is a Celestron mount ASCOM driver that can allow your mount to be controlled simultaneously by any planetarium program (Starry Night, Stellarium, Sky Charts (Cartes du Ciel)) and SharpCap and guide scope (PHD2) or Off Axis Guider (PHD2). It does require ASCOM to be installed but you do not have to manually start it up once installed.

CPWI has it's plusses and minuses. ASCOM is needed by allot of astronomy equipment so for me the added overhead of CPWI is not necessary so I personally do not use it...

YMMV!
