Thanks

Re: Dither with Onstep mount?
Hi,
yes, should be able to, providing the ASCOM driver for the mount implements the 'PulseGuide' functions (most do, but it is not compulsory). This is the same way that PHD2 for instance will ask the majority of mounts to dither (and guide), so it seems likely to be supported.
Of course, if the mount works with PHD2 guiding then SharpCap can command the dithering by communicating with PHD2.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Dither with Onstep mount?
Thank you for the reply.
Do I connect the mount to SC? Or just Phd2?

Re: Dither with Onstep mount?
For guiding/dithering, you will need a connection from PHD2.
If you want to take advantage of GOTO movements to targets or plate solving/sync from SharpCap you will need to connect from SharpCap too (but PHD2 will handle guiding/dithering)

Robin
