Hello!

So it looks like the issue with the SV305 continues. My daughter gave me one for Christmas. I've tried both the 32-bit and 64-bit version of 4.1, and also tried the suggestion of rolling back to 4.0.9132, without success. However Sharpcap DOES recognize my Svbony SV105 no problem, regardless of which SharpCap version is installed.

My computer does recognize the device when i plug it in, but SharpCap doesn't see it.

I am on an HP Latitude, AMD A9-9425 RADEON R5, 5 COMPUTE CORES 2C+3G 3.10 GHz with 12 GB of RAM, running Windows 10 Home edition.

The clock is ticking on when I can still return this camera, so I need a resolution fairly quickly. Please help!

Regards,

Mike S.

Hi Mike,

the first thing to check is if you have installed the SVBony Windows driver. If you haven't installed that, SharpCap will never see SV305 (or higher) cameras, no matter which version of SharpCap you use. The older SV105 and SV205 do not require the driver to be installed.

To get the driver, go to the SVBony download page ( https://www.svbony.com/Support/SoftWare-Driver/ ), click on 'Windows' on the left, then the top download button for the Camera Drivers. Run the downloaded installer. The direct download link is https://www.svbony.com/Assets/files/202 ... -11-30.exe

cheers,

Robin
