I don't understand why this string isn't accepted in paste custom object, after solving the image
88Thisbe|88Thisbe|Asteroide|23.38977022|5.44161415
I click on paste but it doesn't do anything
I'm doing the test with the deepsky simulator and a picture taken last night

Re: Deep Sky Image Annotation: paste custom object
I had a doubt...
so it works with the comma instead of the decimal point
88Thisbe|88Thisbe|Asteroide|23,38977022|5,44161415 ok
88Thisbe|88Thisbe|Asteroide|23.38977022|5.44161415 error
It should be documented in the manual, I think

Re: Deep Sky Image Annotation: paste custom object
Hi Carlo,
that's odd - it's meant to accept both (it will try with the current settings for decimal point separator and then retry using a '.'). I will have to check.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Deep Sky Image Annotation: paste custom object
I don't understand, but nothing works for me anymore
88Thisbe|88Thisbe|Asteroide|23,38977022|5,44161415 it worked, now no longer
15Eunomia|15Eunomia|Asteroide|18,717222|19,296944 new test by Carlo not accepted
IC0002|IC0002|Galaxy|0.18357778|-12.822861||0.98|0.32|142 from Manual example (original) not accepted
IC0002|IC0002|Galaxy|0,18357778|-12,822861||0,98|0,32|142 from Manual example (modified ./,) not accepted
It seems to me that if it makes a mistake the first time it won't accept anything anymore.
A question: is it possible to remove an object inserted with paste?
thank you so much
Carlo

Re: Deep Sky Image Annotation: paste custom object
Hi,
I haven't had a chance to test the commas versus dots issue yet, but have a note to investigate it.
You can clear the pasted info from the 'Display' tab of the annotation results window using the 'Clear and Reload custom catalogs' button - that might help you understand what is going on without needing to keep restarting SharpCap.
cheers,
Robin
