All of a sudden SharpCap stopped launching correctly. The SharpCap icon appears on the taskbar but no window opens. I tried deleting and reinstalling the software but had the same problem. I saw much earlier posts reporting similar problems associated with .NET. Can you point me in the right direction, please?
Also, while deleting SharpCap, have I also deleted my license key information. If so, can you resend it, please?
Best regards,
Gary

Re: SharpCap 4.1 not starting correctly
Hi Gary,
I wonder if it has somehow managed to remember a last location for the window that is off-screen? If it has, there is a way to rescue any window that is off screen :
* Select the window - clicking on the taskbar icon will do this
* Press <ALT>+<Space> (brings up the right click menu for the window title bar)
* Press M (selects move window)
* Press any arrow key on the keyboard which moves the window a bit
* Move the mouse - once the window has moved it will follow mouse movements.
If that doesn't help, you can use the /resetsettings command line option which will reset all SharpCap settings to default as it starts up - see https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/4.1/#Comman ... 0Arguments
Lost license keys are the easiest problem of them all to deal with - we have a recovery page where you just need to enter the email address used to purchase and it will re-send the key : https://docs.sharpcap.co.uk/4.1/#Comman ... 0Arguments
cheers,
Robin

Hi Robin,
Thanks for the help. Selecting Move did not work, but selecting Maximize did! And, the license key is still there so all back to normal until I screw something up again .
Best regards,
Gary
