Binning with NexImage 10 camera available?

I am using a NexImage 10 camera and would like to use binning which should be available, I think.
This option does not show up in the Capture Format box as mentioned in the user manual.
Do I need to set something up to get this?
Or is it just not available for this camera?

Hi,

unfortunately SharpCap doesn't support binning for Celestron/Imaging Source cameras. I know that in theory some of the models have that ability, but I've never had a model to test with that supports binning, so I have not had the opportunity to write the code necessary to support it.

I don't suppose that I am likely to add improvements to the support in future, since the Celestron range of cameras seems to have been cut back considerably from the wider range offered a few years ago.

Thanks for quick reply on this issue.
Does seem like Celestron is not doing any new cameras but this one is still available.
I have had the NexImage 10 for a number of years and thought I would use it for some planetary imaging a while longer.
Maybe it is time to upgrade to a newer ZWO planetary cam.
