Just reformatted laptop, installed Windows 10 Pro, and tried to re-install the current 64-bit build of SharpCap... it fails a few seconds into then install with the typical useless cryptic message "0x80070490 Element not found".
Oh well... I'll try the older versions to see they work...
Install fails - "0x80070490 Element not found".

Sorted - must have been something wrong with the Windows install - re-installed and all went as it should.

Hi,
possibly a networking issue if it decided it needed the .NET Framework 4.8 and couldn't fetch it from the internet. Quite why it would want that as a reinstall is weird though.
Fortunately SC 4.1 gets rid of the dependency on having to get another package from the internet
cheers,
Robin
