Re: Flip
Hi,
which camera are you using? The Flip options are quite camera brand dependent, so I need to know the camera type to investigate. Also check that you are not using dark or flat frames, as they are unaffected by the flip setting, so will be wrong after flip is changed to a value that doesn't match the one used to capture the dark/flats.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Flip
Hi,
Ok, I will test the flip functions for P1 cameras when I get back from my holiday. In the meantime, if you use the SharpCap 4.1 beta, you can use the 'Flip (after dark/flat)' option that is in the preprocessing controls section. That is implemented by SharpCap so should work equally well for all cameras.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Flip
Hi,
SharpCap 4.1 now has a 'flip after dark/flat' option for all cameras that gives you the chance to flip the image and has the added advantage of not needing separate, flipped, dark and flat frames. That really means that the separate flip functions from the various camera manufacturers are no longer necessary.
cheers,
Robin
