PIPP/SERPlayer website has gone

Post by admin »

Hi folks,

if you have looked for downloads of either PIPP or SERPlayer recently, you may have noticed that the web site for both pieces of software has vanished. Once upon a time it could be found at https://sites.google.com/site/astropipp/ser-player, but Google have finally turned off their 'Classic Sites' web pages and since the site hadn't been updated to the newer platform, it has vanished.

Fortunately you can still access the downloads necessary and an archived copy of the website.

An archived version of the PIPP/SERPlayer website can be found here : http://web.archive.org/web/202303171027 ... astropipp/ (may be slow to load)

The latest SERPlayer downloads can be found on Github : https://github.com/cgarry/ser-player/re ... tag/v1.7.2

The downloads for PIPP are still currently accessible via the Wayback machine

32 bit PIPP : https://web.archive.org/web/20230604160 ... ects=0&d=1

64 bit PIPP : https://web.archive.org/web/20230604160 ... ects=0&d=1

If the above links fail at some point, I suppose I could mirror copies on the sharpcap web site somewhere.

cheers,

Robin
