Focus Scores while Live Stacking

My Routine: Take flats, focus, plate solve, sync, re-center, EAA live stack sit back in awe (with live stacking hard to tell that focus has drifted), save all Lights, recheck focus (desert temps change 10-20°F in one night), restart live stack, save all lights, stack all lights in ASTAP, post process all lights in Siril. Sit back in awe...

So... if I could just see the focus score while live stacking I would not have to interrupt my live stack to check my focus. HyperStar needs more precise focus but the cropping detail is unbelievable when done well.

Or... if you could do one those orange bars across the top: Focus score has changed from X.XX to X.XX - refocus maybe necessary. WOW I would be yes I would be happy to refocus!

If you have ideas of already implemented options to combine I am all ears.

Hi Randall,

in the live stacking area there is a tab called 'Filter (FWHM)'. It's really designed to help you exclude some frames if they have poor FWHM measurements, but the value is pretty much a focus measurement, so if the value there starts to creep up your focus is drifting out.
