I did not see anything lately about this in the forum. I have determined the backlash in ZWO EAF is 23 steps by the Sharpie method. I have put that in my ZWO EAF ASCOM Setup.
Will this screwup SC's ability to autofocus and maintain focus?

Hi Randall,
no, you just need to go into the hardware settings for the focuser in SharpCap and tick the box to let SharpCap know that backlash is handled by the ASCOM driver. That lets SharpCap know that it doesn't need to worry about backlash for the focuser movements.
