Hi folks,
I was wondering if SharpCap Pro 4 can be made to detect a slew and to clear the live stacking after the slew? I run an observatory for guests, and it would be very useful if I could turn on live stacking at the beginning of the night, and then have it clear the live stack each time it detects the scope is moving to a new target.

Hi Tim,
if you are happy to let SharpCap perform the movements from one target to the next then this is handled for you by the new SharpCap 4.1 beta. Use the GOTO Target/Co-ordinates tool to perform the movements and it will interact with live stacking to save and close the current stack, move the telescope and then start a new one when you arrive at the new target.
If you want to control the telescope movement from another piece of software then there isn't a feature to support that yet, but it is something I have considered.
