I captured an image as TIFF and SharpCap saved it as RGB (which is fine).
Is there a way to ask SharpCap to save it in CFA format?
Thanks
David

Re: Saving a TIFF in CFA mode
Hi David,
depends where you save from in SharpCap...
Save from the 'Snapshot' button (or 'Start Capture') on the toolbar will get you a single plane image with CFA matrix providing you are in 'RAW8' or 'RAW16' modes (if your camera is in RGB mode then you will get 3 plane RGB).
Saving from live stacking, or from the little save icon in the mini histogram on the right will get you an RGB image as live stacking debayers the image in order to align and the button on the right is designed to save exactly as seen on screen into an easy to view format.
Hope this helps,
Robin
