Hello all,
I am using sharpcap for EAA , mostly live stacking images do you think a pc stick with a J4125 processor will be sufficient for this process ?
I am thinking of purchasing either a pc stick or a mini pc. But the pc stick is more favorable due to power consumption and size.
Thanks
Kle

Re: PC stick for Sharpcap pro
Hi Kie,
what camera resolution do you intend using? It would almost certainly be fine for 1280x1024, and almost certainly not be any good for 6000x4000 pixels... In between, it will depend on how long the frames are (how long does the CPU have to do the alignment/stacking work) and whether you intend to use any of the more advanced features in live stacking.
I don't have any experience of this particular CPU, but the benchmark results are pretty slow, so I would be worried if your resolution was more than about 3 megapixels.
cheers,
Robin
