Focal Length written to FITS files

#1

Post by Calamity_Jane »

Hi:

I am pretty sure that my FITS files are picking up the focal length of my scope from somewhere, but I'm afraid I can't see where this information is being picked up from.

This never used to matter when I had only one telescope for imaging, but now I have an apo refractor as well as my trusty SCT. So I now need to switch between two values.

Thanks very much.

Regards,

Jane.

Hello,

Under "File" - "SharpCap Settings" - "Plate Solving" ... Focal Length of Telescope
