In 3 years of usding SC never seen this error message:
sharpcap cannot invert matrix with determinant = 0
Couldn't even find a =nything on it with google.
After a reboot its gone away/

Hi,
that message is most likely to come from the background subtraction code - it means there is no mathematical solution to the problem of what background pattern best fits the image, which is really odd.
If you can make it happen at all regularly, please capture an image that causes the issue (with all the background subtraction turned off, so I can look at the raw data) and I will try to dig into why.
