Altair Hypercam 26C - 2023 version

I've recently (Friday) got my Hypercam 26C from Altair but the firmware is different to the previous 26C. Ian has sent a new firware which allows the camera to operate via Altair Capture only. Anyone know of an ASCOM driver/firmware for the new camera to allow its use via SmartCap and other software?

Hi,

the latest Altair SDK I have is from mid December, and that is in SharpCap 4.0.9499 and newer versions. If you have a version of SharpCap from before that (for instance 4.0.9478, which is the latest available via auto-update) then please update to the latest version from the download page and give that a try. If that doesn't work then I will have to pester Altair for an even newer update

The ASCOM driver is separate, but may also be out of date - if we find that the updated SDK in SharpCap fixes the issue then we know what Altair needs to do for the ASCOM driver too.

Just downloaded the latest from the download page. SharpCap Pro now see's my 26C Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
