Offset ROI center point while using feature tracking

#1

Post by bvalente »

Love ROI, Love feature tracking

How can I offset the feature tracking 'center of mass' so I can capture a planet off-center in the ROI, and leave room for its moon?

RIght now the feature tracking just centers the planet

here's an example of what I am imaging, jupiter to the left (hopefully feature tracked by center of mass) and ganymede to the right

Thanks

Brian

Hi Brian,

I don't think there is a way to achieve that at the moment, I will have to have a think about it. One workaround would be a 'short + wide' custom ROI that makes space on both sides, but not ideal.

cheers,

Robin

Hi,

no chance to look at this yet, I will make sure it goes on the 'ideas for new features' board, but there is quite a lot there already!

cheers,

Robin
