Error/Crash after directory remove

#1

Post by roelb »

After leaving "Live Stack" / remove the directory (which was made automatically as per the object name) /
and re-do "Live Stack" the program crashes.
Crash report was sent from within the program.
Log file is attached.

Intermediate removing the made DIR using snapshots results in a displayed error as per print screen attached.

Hi,

fixed in the latest version, although I still have an issue with the question of *what does it mean when you close the live stacking window*??

Currently SharpCap pauses the live stack on the grounds that
a) stacks take time and effort to build
b) you might have closed it accidentally
c) it would be a shame to throw away a stack in progress due to an accident

however, in your use case closing the live stacking window means to you 'I'm done with this stack, forget about it'.

I don't want to change the current behaviour completely, but I see the validity of your use case - struggling to find a good design to fix this so far.

cheers,

Robin

I did leave the stacking window to prepare for a new stacking of the same object, but I did see that the object name wasn't correct.
So I wanted to clean up the capures folder before restart with a fresh stack.
